Old Business

Clean up in Chengwatana on July 5th after the storms took 7 ½ hrs. Thanks to Terry and Brett!

Clean up in St. Croix on July 13th after the storms: almost 7 hours of work by 12 or so people. Thanks to all!

Pine County Fair parade had 17 atv’s and the float. Watch the Club website for pictures. The Fair Club Booth was down on sales slightly from last year but all-in-all it wasn’t too bad. 50/50 tickets still available - contact Wendy Bloom @ 320-629-3770 to purchase these

Duquette Fun Day was FANTASTIC! 51 ATV pulls were run and we sold out of just about all the food. The Club cleared slightly over $1200.00. Mr. Fodness, Duquette activities chairperson for the day, sent a very nice Thank You letter to the Club and also asked if we would be interested in doing it again next year.

            Guest Speaker

Jeff & Joan VanGrinsven, owners of the Soo Line RV & Campground in Onamia, were here to discuss the area for the ATVAM Fall Convention’s Mud Run/ATV Pull that the Club is doing on Sept. 20th and what is needed. Some members will go up and check out everything within the next few days. We’ve been asked to bring the Snack Shack up there on Friday and do the cooking for that night, along with Saturday afternoon during the Run/Pull. If you wish to help, contact an Officer or Board member. It will be a very busy weekend!

New Business

ATV Youth Safety Training class will be Saturday, Sept.  6th at 9:00 am at the Pine County Fair Grounds. Contact Les Bloom @ 320-629-3770 for further info.

Motion by Lois Cornelius, and approved, to purchase $400 worth of new T’s and tank-tops with new design on back of shirts.

TRAIL WORK DAY FOR CHENGWATANA: Saturday, August 23rd. New bridge will be built & old one will be moved & reset at a needed location nearby. The DNR is VERY pleased with what we have been doing lately - let’s keep it up! PLEASE come out and pitch in . It will take a lot of help to accomplish this task. A plaque will be designed and placed there dedicating the new bridge to the memory of Jerrad Wiener and the work he did to keep these trails open to the public.
