Meeting called to order

Pledge of Allegiance

Secretary’s report read; motion by Marv Monster to accept & seconded by Scott Cornelius; approved.

Treasurers’ report read; motion by Deb Peterson to accept & seconded by Wayne Secord; approved.

Old Business
Hunter’s Point on Mille Lacs Lake was profitable. They would like the Club to do another one next year around the same time - looking at a couple of available weekends in February.

Radar Run at Maverick’s on Saturday, February 21, 2009 was a great day - - - profitable and a lot of fun! A family member of Marv Monster’s won the Grand Prize stay at the Millennium Hotel in Minneapolis.

Quotes for prices of business cards, membership forms and banners were gotten from several different places. A motion was made by Josh Mohr to spend $500.00 on these items and seconded by Marv Monster; approved.

New Business
There was some discussion of possibly changing the date of the first Radar Run Event from January to early or mid December.

Mail was received from the local food shelf requesting a monetary donation - it was decided by all that a non-perishable food drive would be done at the upcoming Club meeting on April 7, 2009. PLEASE bring at least 1, if not more, non-perishable food item to the next meeting. If you aren’t able to attend, consider sending an item with another member or dropping something off yourself at the local food shelf. Thank You!
Request was received by a new food distribution called "Job’s Hope" for donations - either monetary or items on enclosed lists. It was decided that if anyone wanted to, they could do so themselves.

Les Bloom will be attending ATVAM’s Vision Conference up at Cragun’s Resort.

The DNR has made a suggestion of building a parking lot and planting trees out at the Chengwatana State Forest area that is currently an eye sore with the dirt/rock piles and trash left there all the time. Suggestion accepted by all. We were also asked if the Club would care to take on the responsibilities of another Forest area and it was decided to not do it at this time. We don’t want to spread ourselves too thin and not keep up with those areas that we are currently committed to doing.

Joe Alberio from the DNR will be at the Club meeting on April 7, 2009. If you have any questions or concerns, this is the time to come forward with them!

Debbie Peterson will be the new Club liaison for Lee’s Pro Shop - see her about any item you wish to have ordered.

Member-of-the-Month: Rick Nordahl - - - for donating the money for the fastest speed up at Hunter’s Point on Mille Lacs Lake. Congratulations to Rick!
