Old Business
February Radar Run at Maverick’s was great! Expenses were: food: $52.96,
advertising: $116.50, plaques: $183.83, and $20.00 prizes each for fastest sled
and fastest atv.
Discussion of some of the advantages and disadvantages of the new 501c3 status
of the Club.
New Business
Paperwork turned in for a couple of grants.
Form 990 to the IRS needs to be filed by May 15, 2010.
What events should we do or not do? Should it be cut
back to maybe 2 events a year? The members will decide as the time arrives.
Otherwise, we should do a Radar Run in February and the ATV Pull during the Pine
County Fair. A motion by Brett P and seconded by Paul J to have the plaques and
insurance(if required) paid for by whoever and wherever the events are held;
approved.
The Club will do the ATV Pull at Duquette Day on July
10, 2010. Roy Hoiland has been working very hard at getting everything set up
for this event. Sounds like all the expenses are covered except that the Club
will pick up the cost of the insurance for it. Motion by Hank D and seconded by
Deb P to cover the insurance; approved. This is always a lot of fun to help out
with. Come on up and find out!
An ATV Poker Run is in the planning stage for April 17,
2010. This will start at 1:00 p.m. in Willow River. Motion by Paul J and
seconded by Les B to go ahead; approved. More details at the next General
Membership meeting on April 6, 2010.
National Trail Day is June 5, 2010. The Club has decided
to take the Snack Shack out to the St Croix trails and hand out hotdogs, water,
trail maps and brochures. We will do a trail cleanup afterward. Motion by Les B
and seconded by Brett P to do this; approved. Come on out!
If anyone wants to go on a midweek ride sometime - get
in touch with Paul J @ 320-629-2209.
Les B came up with a couple of ideas for rides for different causes. He will get
more details later.
ATV Youth Safety Training class to be held on Saturday,
May 22, 2010 at Wings North just out west of Pine City. Les B will chair this.
ATVAM Gun Raffle is going on: Terry P has some tickets
for sale @ $10.00 each. If anyone wants to purchase one, contact him @
320-629-6510.

Tuesday, April 6, 2010: Membership meeting in Beroun. Board @
6:00 p.m. and General @ 7:00 p.m..
Saturday, April 17, 2010: ATV Poker Run. Leaving @1:00 p.m. out of Willow
River. More info to come.
Tuesday, May 4, 2010: Membership & Board meeting in Beroun.
Saturday, May 22, 2010: ATV Youth Safety Training class. Wings North west
of Pine City starting @ 9:00 a.m. Contact Les B @ 320-629-3770 for more info
