Old Business
GIA monies
totaling approximately $21,000 has been approved for the maintenance and
development of trails out in Chengwatana and
April ride to
Terry Peterson has received word from ATVAM that the Club can bring it’s Snack Shack up to the Fall Convention and sell food at the ATV Pull & Mud Run, if we want to.
Mark Mansavage reported that the Spring Ditch Clean-Up went well. There were 6 National Honor Society youth that came out and helped along with the Club members who showed up.
Les Bloom stated that the Youth
Training Class went very well despite some setbacks before the class. There
were 22 graduates, and 4 adults took the class also. A motion was made by
Les Bloom to send a $25.00 RedDog Billy’s gift card
to Terry Bombard for his help in getting a place to hold the Training class.
This was seconded and approved.
ATV Pull on June 21st at
Maverick’s near Beroun was discussed. Anyone wishing to help,
get a hold of Rudy Schmidt @ 320-629-7196.
New
Business
There was a lengthy discussion concerning protocol, Club bylaws and GIA monies and spending. Several points were made and discussed.
Club bylaws need to be gone over and rewritten. It was discussed that a Bylaws Committee should be formed. Scott Cornelius made a motion that Les Bloom, Terry Peterson and Hank Daniels be members of this committee. This was seconded and approved.
A Budget
Committee for trail spending needs to be set up. Motion was made by Wendy Bloom that Josh
Mohr, Marvin Monster, and Scott Cornelius be members
of this committee. This was seconded and approved. A motion was made by Josh
Mohr to request a budget of $1000.00 of GIA monies for upcoming expenses for
trail clean up and necessary work until Budget Committee can meet. This was
seconded and approved.
ATVAM 50/50 raffle tickets are
available! Contact Scott Jahnz @ 320-629-1174 to
purchase these.
Discussion of the Pine County Fair parade and the Club booth - Terry Peterson will do the Club’s entry in the Fair Parade this year and Rose and Wayne Secord will do the Club booth at the Fair grounds again.
The Hinckley/Pine City Flames Snowmobile Club has offered us the rental of their Club rooms in Beroun for a very small fee. Motion made by Mark Mansavage to accept the offer, seconded and approved. Elections are coming soon! Nominations so far are:
