Secretary’s Report for Meeting on
November 1, 2011
Called to order. Pledge of Allegiance.
Secretary’s report and Treasurer’s report given:
Motion to accept by Jigger Cornelius & seconded by Wayne Secord.
Old Business: More fun and less work seems to be the consensus. Time and
participation is the main obstacle to making the fun runs a success. Focus on Chengwatana trails and not so much the St Croix trails was discussed as part of the Grant-In-Aid funding. Rides and
youth training were highlighted as key functions of the Club with help on trail
maintenance as needed. Reminder that the Club needs to help keep the shared Munger Trail (snowmobile/atv)
maintained in order to continue using the Flames Clubhouse as our meeting
place. Suggestion was made to continue holding a fundraiser or two annually
i.e. pulls and radar runs. New Board of Directors and Officers: Combined
Sec/Treasurer, President, Vice President, 2 Directors. Dave Secord will fill
one director/ATVAM rep, Debbie Peterson as Sec/Treasurer,
Lois Cornelius will be the second Director, Terry Peterson as Vice President,
Josh Mohr as President. All positions
are to be held until July 2012.

New Business: Radar Runs will
only be held if we have enough volunteers to work the events. This includes a Chairman to make sure the
event is taken care of. Without this we
will not have an event. We do not have to get any extra insurance for these
event, they are a part of our regular insurance policy. Other option is to take a break and see what
happens.
Chengwatan is a huge mess…this will be a BIG Spring
Project. The club understands that times
are tuff for everyone now so we are willing to help a little bit by giving
everyone that comes out to help clean up a gift card for gas and maybe
lunch. Amount to be determined, but
remember every bit helps.
We
also talked about buying a flag for the Hinckley Pine City Flames building so
we no longer need to bring our own for the meetings. Motion made by Josh Mohr
and second by Wayne Secord.
Holidays
are coming, Special Holiday Pot Luck Meeting planned for January to avoid everyones busy holiday celebrations. Possibly
planning it for a Sunday afternoon food, fun and games. More plans to be made at the December
meeting. Watch your meeting minutes for December.

Upcoming Rides: NO rides are planned at this time due to
hunting season and upcoming cold weather.
