Old Business

Debbie Peterson has ordered sweatshirts with Club logo and member name embroidered on the front and a few more T-shirts. For those of you that placed an order they should be ready by the next meeting.

The Club has several packages of hamburger and hotdog buns available for sale at 50 cents each (they are currently frozen). Also, some boxes of burger patties at $15.00 each. Contact Karen Brackenbury at 320-629-3730 if you wish to buy any of them. They are kept in her freezer.

The Trail Committee will meet with Joe Alberio of the MNDNR later this month. The DNR would like the Club to build a picnic area and install restrooms out in the Chengwatana State Forest near the trails next Spring possibly.

Les Bloom mentioned that there are some Youth Instructor Training classes coming up. Just check on the MNDNR website or ATVAM’s website for more information.

REMINDER: the November Board and Membership meeting will be on Wednesday, November 5th due to the General Elections being on the 4th.

New Business

Joe from the MNDNR came to our meeting with new signs for us.  We discussed a picnic area, possible out door toilet for next year’s projects.  It was also brought up about using our ATV club as a contact for Emergency Calls to help look for someone lost or something along those lines.  It was also discussed that we can possibly re-route the north end of the Chengwatana trail by the shelter and south to the campground.

We got the new chainsaws for the club from Olson Power and Equipment. Hank will be going over them and checking them out for the club.

The 501 3C was discussed.  A conflict of Interest form needs to be signed by the board members and as many club members as possible. This motion was made by Dave Secord and second by Wayne Secord.  A few questions that need to be talked over by the club where taken care of.  Jigger mad a motion to submit the 501 3c to the accountant and second by Brett.

The Christmas Party will tentatively be Saturday, January 10, 2009 at the Hinckley/Pine City Flames in Beroun.  It will be Pot Luck starting at 12:00 pm.  A budget of $200.00 was motioned by Lois and second by Deb P and approver for gifts and prizes.
