Old Business

Ditch Clean-up had a total of 4 people show up to work. It was noted that the ditches had not been mowed as of the clean-up date, so next year we’ll wait to do the Fall Clean-up after the ditches are mowed - later during the month of October most likely.

ATVAM’s Fall Convention was not very profitable for the Club. A Thank You card will be sent to Dennis Janssen for the use of a PA system for the events and one to the Onamia Fire Department for bringing out the water to make the mud hole.

The new bridge dedication to Jerrad and the potluck with atv pull at Maverick’s on Saturday, September 27, 2008 was very well attended. It was suggested that a Thank You card and a gift certificate be sent to the Toman’s of Mission Creek Memorials for the excellent job they did on the plaque that was made for the trail site. Motion by Paul J. and seconded by Jenny M. and approved for a $50.00 gift and card to be sent out.

New Business

Debbie Peterson has an order form for the purchase of sweatshirts with Club logo and member name embroidered on the front. Cost will be $30.00 total. She also has a sheet for ordering new long-sleeve T’s, short-sleeve T’s(with breast pockets available and screen-print logo on back) and tank tops and muscle shirts. All of these are available in several new and different colors. Contact Debbie at 320-629-6510 for further information and ordering.

The Club has several packages of hamburger and hotdog buns available for sale at 50 cents each. Also, some boxes of burger patties at $15.00 each. Contact Karen Brackenbury at 320-629-3730 if you wish to buy any of them. They are kept in her freezer.

The Trail Committee will meet with Joe Alberio of the MNDNR later this month. The DNR would like the Club to build a picnic area and install restrooms out in the Chengwatana State Forest near the trails next Spring possibly.

Les Bloom mentioned that there are some Youth Instructor Training classes coming up. Just check on the MNDNR website or ATVAM’s website for more information.

There will be a Club Ride on Saturday, October 25^th. We will meet at the Duquette General Store at 9:00 am and ride the trails from there. Contact Marvin Monster at 320-358-4937 for more information.

REMINDER: the November Board and Membership meeting will be on Wednesday, November 5^th due to the General Elections being on the 4^th.
