Secretary’s Report for Meeting on September
6, 2011
Called to order.
Pledge of Allegiance.
Secretary’s report and Treasurer’s report given:
Motion to accept by Deb Peterson & seconded by Scott Cornelius.
Old Business
Question as to whether or not
clean-up can be done on the forest trails that were damaged by July storms.
Suggestion was to have a group inspect the trails and report back on condition
of each and/or defer to the DNR for direction.
Discussion
on how to re-vitalize the club membership. Rides, incentives, change of
leadership? Possibly reduce the work emphasis and move for more riding events
was also discussed to enhance participation in the club. Reinstate monthly
drawings for members present at meeting and bonus for bringing a new member.
New Business
Discussed
the possibility of dissolving the Club due to lack of interest/participation by
the members. A letter will be sent to current members advising them of the
situation and asking that they attend a special meeting to be held October 4,
2011 to explore any ideas to keep the Club active.
Terry P suggested giving away two
door prizes at the October 2011 meeting.
