Old Business

The new bridge in Chengwatana is done and what a very nice looking one it is! With heavy rope guards, even! And the old one was moved to its new useful area. An excellent job and a BIG Thank You to all who helped that Saturday! The trail signs are all up, too. Come on out and see it all soon!

A reminder for ALL - - - Bridge dedication & ride in memory of Jerrad on Saturday, September 27 @ 11:00 a.m. with a Potluck lunch @ 2:00 p.m. out at Maverick’s in Beroun. The pulling skid will be at Maverick’s for those who want to give it a try -so bring those atv’s to Maverick’s after the trail ride and dedication ceremonies.

The skid trailer has new tires and the Snack Shack received new bearing buddies.

ATV Youth Training Class has no youngsters signed up as of yet.

New t’s were purchased - including some long sleeve-ones and several different colors this time. Cost for long-sleeve t’s will be $18 for nonmembers and $10 for members.

New Business

ATVAM Fall Convention - - -The track and mud hole are done  in Onamia for the Mud Run/ATV Pull that the Club is doing. Thank you to Chad up there! A $750 food budget was approved for the weekend up there.

Discussion of a PA system - either buying or renting - as the Club does need one for all the events that it holds.

The Club has been invited to do the ATV Pull at Duquette Fun Day next summer on Saturday, July 11, 2009. The date has been marked as a “GO.” So please circle that date on your calendar for next year.

Ditch Clean-up date was set for Saturday, October 4, 2008. Meet @ the Cross Lake Dam parking lot @ 9:00 am

Motion was made and approved by all to give Stephanie Wiener and her young adult family members a lifetime membership to the Club. This is one of the Club’s ways of saying “Thank You for sharing your Jarred with us!”

Member-of-the-Month: Everyone that worked on the bridge rebuilding! THANKS to ALL of YOU!

Rides & Dates

Saturday, Sept 6th: ATV Youth Safety Training Class @ 9:00 a.m. Pine County Fairgrounds. Contact Les Bloom for more info.

Fri/Sat/Sun, Sept 19th, 20th, 21st: ATVAM Fall Convention in Onamia. Check ATVAM website for more info. Club Snack Shack to be used Friday and Saturday. Club will be doing the ATV Pull & Mud Run on Saturday!

Saturday, Sept 27th: Club Fun Day! @ Chengwatana State Forest Trails - ride & dedication of new bridge to begin @ 11:00 a.m.. Potluck afterward at Maverick’s east of Beroun @ 2:00 p.m. - pulling skid will be there to use, so Bring your ATV’s!

Saturday, October 4th: Ditch Clean-Up - - - Meet at the Cross Lake dam parking lot @ 9:00 a.m. For more info contact Mark/Jenny Mansavage @ 320-629-1238

Tuesday, October 7th: Board meeting @ 6:00 p.m. and General Membership meeting @ 7:00 p.m. at the Pine City/Hinckley Flames Club Room in Beroun, MN
